Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dale Gribble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Dudek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gribble checks a leg kick.
Dudek loads up on a big right hand but Gribble slips the punch.
Gribble misses with a low kick as Dudek jumps back.
Dudek cracks Gribble with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Gribble will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dudek is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gribble.

The fighters circling - Dudek throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Dudek walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Gribble connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Gribble wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dudek has him pressed against the cage.
Gribble on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Gribble has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Gribble breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dudek throws out a leg kick but Gribble moves out of range and Dudek only half commits.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dudek clobbers Gribble with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Gribble's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dudek connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gribble scrambles back to his feet.

Will Gribble make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Dudek takes it!
