The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dent darts in and clinches Phillips up against the cage.
Dent tries to throw a body punch but Phillips avoids it by throwing Dent back against the cage.
Phillips blocks a body shot from Dent.
Dent is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Phillips is defending well for now.

Dent postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Phillips is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dent, into his guard.

Dent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Phillips doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Phillips manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Phillips takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dent takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Phillips throws out a leg kick but Dent moves out of range and Phillips only half commits.
Phillips misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Benny Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dent throws a body punch but Phillips moves out of range.
Dent lands with an uppercut that bounces Phillips off the cage and back into range.
Phillips scores with a hook to the body. Dent takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Dent fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Phillips manages to avoid it.
Dent moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Phillips swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dent.
Benny Phillips is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Phillips lands a nice looking body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Phillips Rushes Dent and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Dent is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Phillips Piles on the pressure and Dent crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
