The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Los Mentos lands with an overhand left.
D shoots in for a takedown but Los Mentos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Los Mentos scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
D tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Los Mentos swivels and escapes.
Los Mentos punishes D's body with a nice straight punch.
D shoots in for a double leg but Los Mentos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Senior Los Mentos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan D.
No luck with that takedown attempt from D.
Sloppy strikes from Los Mentos. Those never looked like landing.
Los Mentos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Los Mentos weaves into range and cracks D right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! D goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Los Mentos is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
