The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Marshall throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Marshall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marshall misses with an uppercut
and Linguist cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Marshall lands a jab to the nose.
Linguist steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marshall.
Marshall misses with a straight right.
Linguist takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Linguist misses with a series of wild punches.
Marshall lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Julian Linguist has been cut.

Linguist has gone for a leg lock! Marshall slips out almost immediately though and dives into Linguist's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Marshall wants to control from the top but Linguist keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Marshall lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Linguist is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marshall.

and Linguist counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Linguist trying to control the position from guard on top but Marshall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Linguist stands and throws Marshall's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Linguist wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Marshall, who protects the arm well.
Linguist tries for a kimura but Marshall is defending well.
Linguist trying to control the position but Marshall is working away.

Marshall dodges the ground and pound from Linguist.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Marshall wants to control but Linguist postures up.

Linguist tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Linguist has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Linguist swings around for an armbar but Marshall sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Linguist's guard.
Marshall is looking to stand up but Linguist won't let him.
Linguist tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Marshall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Marshall is posturing up here but Linguist has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Marshall tries to roll out but it's too tight and Marshall has to tap! Slick submission there by Linguist!
