Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Keats!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keats moves into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Keats - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Keats unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Thompson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Thompson can't break the clinch.
Keats has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Thompson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Will Keats go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Thompson wants to escape the position.
Thompson is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson breaks Keats's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Keats has control of Thompson's left arm, preventing Thompson from doing any damage.
Keats keeping full guard, as Thompson tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thompson passes into half guard.
Keats trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Thompson throwing strikes here but Keats is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Thompson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Thompson prevents Keats from getting the reversal.

Keats tries to lock up and control but Thompson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Thompson trying to control but Keats is having none of it.
Keats tries to hold on but Thompson postures up.
Keats sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thompson works his way into full mount!
Keats blocking the ground and pound.
Thompson quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Thompson but it's paid off an Keats is forced to tap! Nice work by Thompson.
