Couture has chosen Run This Town as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Couture fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bermudez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bermudez throws a push kick but Couture slaps the foot to one side.
Couture lands with an overhand left.
Couture throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Couture misses with the combination.
Couture is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Bermudez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Couture was covering up waiting for the punch and Bermudez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
