Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hitokage Hakaisha!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakaisha avoids a kick to the body.
Donk. James catches Hakaisha right on the button with a cross.
Hakaisha moves away from the strike by James.
James scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
James lands a jab to Hakaisha's midsection.
James throws a predictable looking body shot

and Hakaisha counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hakaisha.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
James is looking to stand up but Hakaisha isn't so interested in that idea.

A close round but Hitokage Hakaisha will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

James is looking to clinch but Hakaisha is avoiding it.
James shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
James loads up on a big right hand but Hakaisha slips the punch.

Hakaisha fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jesse James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hitokage Hakaisha.

and James counters with a nice body shot.
James catches Hakaisha with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

James looks to land a left hand but Hakaisha moved out of range nicely.
Hakaisha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around James's waist but James gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hakaisha off to one side.
James scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Jesse James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd cheers as Hakaisha lands an impressive looking overhand right. James doesn't seem phased though.
Hakaisha shoots in looking for a takedown but James manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hakaisha's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

James closes the distance and pushes Hakaisha back into the cage.

James throws a punch but it's blocked by Hakaisha.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James scores with an uppercut up the middle.


Hakaisha is rocked!
James swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Still in the clinch, James scores with a nice short uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse James dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Hakaisha seems to have recovered his senses.
James lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

James walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Hakaisha drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! James swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Hakaisha's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesse James!
Jesse James decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
