Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Roll Fizzlebeef!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Night Man!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fizzlebeef.
Fizzlebeef missing with a left hand there. Man was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fizzlebeef slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A clash of legs there as Fizzlebeef blocks the low kick.
Fizzlebeef shoots in and drives through. Man sprawls well.
Fizzlebeef throws a hook to the side of Man's head but Man sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A slow jab from Man misses its intended target.
Fizzlebeef throws a looping overhand right but Man ducks down to avoid it.
Fizzlebeef dives in and grabs Man's left leg, looking for a takedown. Man pushes down on Fizzlebeef's head and hops out.
Man feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fizzlebeef's calf.
Good leg kick by Man there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Man throws a head kick but Fizzlebeef moves out of range.
Man throws a head kick but Fizzlebeef moves out of range.
Man fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Man dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fizzlebeef. That did some damage!
Fizzlebeef misses with a few strikes there.

Fizzlebeef feints and as Man raises his hands in defense, Fizzlebeef changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Man looking for a sweep. Not yet Man, not yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fizzlebeef trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fizzlebeef wants to pass the guard but Man is keeping the position.

Fizzlebeef drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Man manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fizzlebeef has Man in his guard.
Man is looking to stand up but Fizzlebeef won't let him.

Fizzlebeef is looking for a triangle but Man pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fizzlebeef has a closed guard, preventing Man from standing up.

Fizzlebeef had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Man defends it easily.

Man decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fizzlebeef, up you get!
Roll Fizzlebeef seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Man clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fizzlebeef has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Man after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roll Fizzlebeef. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Man misses with a knee to the head.
Man trying to land knees to the body.

Fizzlebeef lands a takedown into guard.
Man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Man keeping full guard, as Fizzlebeef tries to pass.

Man wants to stand and escape but Fizzlebeef is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Man looking to control.
Fizzlebeef throwing strikes from guard but Man blocks nicely.
Man preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fizzlebeef connects with a couple of short punches.
Fizzlebeef is in close to Man's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Fizzlebeef won't allow Man to get back to his feet.
Man pulls Fizzlebeef in close to his closed guard and prevents Fizzlebeef from doing any damage or advancing position.
Fizzlebeef sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Man's guard.
Man tries to roll over but Fizzlebeef keeps him under control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Man avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fizzlebeef.
Man blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fizzlebeef.
Man is looking to improve his position.
Man is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Man is trying to stand up here but Fizzlebeef is controlling him well.
Man is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fizzlebeef scores with a couple of nice shots.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fizzlebeef working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Man can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fizzlebeef not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Man wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fizzlebeef is trying for a kimura here. Man looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Fizzlebeef wins by kimura!
