Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julian Fiasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitch has chosen Kickstart as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Julian Fiasco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Fitch!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fiasco misses with an attempted mid kick.

so Fitch counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fitch connects with a nice short shot to Fiasco's temple.

Fitch fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fiasco sprawls well initially but Fitch persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fitch is taking a breather. Fiasco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fitch will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Fiasco up against the cage.

Well Fitch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
