Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams tries to clinch up but Ward circles away and keeps his distance.
Adams misses the shot to the body.
Adams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ward defends it nicely.
Ward throws a head kick but Adams moves out of range.
Ward leaves Adams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Adams shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ward napping and manages to drive through into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ward is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Adams asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Adams lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Ward! More strikes land and this one is all over! Adams jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
