PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chaz Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirek Saniewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saniewski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sam przeciwko wszystkim. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Chaz Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mirek Saniewski!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saniewski looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Wong fails with an attempt to clinch.

Saniewski catches Wong with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Wong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Saniewski connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Saniewski lands a nice hook to Wong's body. Wong takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wong has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Mirek Saniewski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wong takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Saniewski is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wong rather than just go for the knockout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wong takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Wong takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wong tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Saniewski thows a body kick. Wong tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Mirek Saniewski seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Saniewski lands a big head kick that sends Wong tumbling to the mat! Saniewski takes a step backwards and waves Wong back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Wong is rocked!
Wong drops his hands momentarily and Saniewski needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Wong just on the top of the head. Wong drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Wong - he's done!
