Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sin Cara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and wu Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sin Cara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, wu Kong!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kong closes the distance and clinches.
Kong with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Cara avoids the elbow strike from Kong, against the cage.
Cara drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kong gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kong is pressed up against the cage. Cara has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kong down to the mat. Kong avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cara could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kong misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kong tries to close the distance and clinch but Cara swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cara throws a head kick but Kong moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kong.

Cara dodges an elbow strike from Kong.

Kong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cara keeps the fight on the outside.

Kong using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cara has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cara closes the distance and clinches up with Kong, looking for a takedown. Cara pushes Kong against the cage but Kong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kong tries to clinch up but Cara circles away and keeps his distance.

Kong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kong tries to land knees in the clinch but Cara avoids the damage to the body.
Cara is looking to take this one to the mat.
Kong tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kong misses with an elbow over the top.

Kong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cara manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kong wants to clinch but Cara slips to the side

and Cara counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kong's guard now.

Cara thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kong seems keen to control Cara's posture.

Cara drops back looking for a leg! Kong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kong manages to kick Cara off! Cara jumps back into Kong's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cara is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cara tries to avoid it but Kong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cara to the ground. Cara escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cara swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cara moves into range and clinches up with Kong.
Kong looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Kong is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cara is defending well for now.

wu Kong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kong winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
