The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cage closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cage lands in his opponent's guard.
Cage tries to free his leg and advance position but Starr is retaining full guard.
Starr tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Cage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Starr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cage has managed to get both his arms back between Starr's legs - danger averted.

Cage tries to pass the half guard into mount. Starr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Cage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Starr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
