Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between General Bonkers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mongo Mongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonkers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bonkers throws a head kick that Mongo semi-blocks.

It looks like Mongo Mongo has been cut.
Mongo misses with a hook. Bonkers ducked under it nicely.

Bonkers has managed to clinch.
Mongo trying to land knees to the body.
Mongo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mongo with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Mongo has a couple of punches blocked by Bonkers.

Bonkers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mongo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bonkers is out of range and Mongo settles back down.
Mongo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Mongo.
Bonkers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bonkers looks to score with a jab to the body but Mongo is just out of range.

Bonkers gets in close and instigates a clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mongo throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Mongo keeps control of Bonkers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bonkers uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bonkers pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mongo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bonkers is out of range.

Bonkers thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mongo if he has to take too many more of those.

Mongo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A punch lands to the side of Mongo 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That has opened up Mongo Mongo's cut even more.
Mongo throws a sloppy head kick and Bonkers moves out of range easily.
Mongo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The cut above Mongo Mongo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Bonkers lands a big head kick that sends Mongo tumbling to the mat! Bonkers takes a step backwards and waves Mongo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mongo is rocked!
