Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damien Price is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Edgar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Price!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar slaps away a takedown attempt from Price, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Price moves into range and clinches up with Edgar.
Price goes for a takedown in the clinch but Edgar prevents it.

Edgar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Price clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Edgar is looking to control Price but Price is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Price is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Edgar off. It looks like it's working - Edgar slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Price displaying calm under pressure there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Frankie Edgar will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Price is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Edgar is just riding it out for now. Price eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frankie Edgar.
I think Edgar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
