Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elmer Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Johnson's choice of entrance music: It's A Fight. Roger Johnson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Ray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Ray ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson lands a jab-cross combination.
Ray on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Johnson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Johnson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ray at a distance.
Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ray clinches.
Ray prevents Johnson from breaking the clinch.
Ray blocks an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Johnson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Johnson throws a punch but it's blocked by Ray.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ray jumps guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Johnson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ray, up you get!
Johnson jabs Ray to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Ray shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.

Ray fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elmer Ray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ray moves away.
Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Ray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Johnson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ray. Ray circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ray back to the cage. Johnson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ray is rocked!
Johnson lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Ray falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
