Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Kerver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alucard Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Kerver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alucard Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerver tries to bum rush Reyes with a series of wild strikes but Reyes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Reyes moves into range and clinches up with Kerver.
Kerver lands a right hand that snaps the head of Reyes backwards.

Kerver escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Reyes forces Kerver back against the cage and clinches.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kerver has had enough of the clinch but Reyes keeps him there for the moment.
Reyes keeps control of Kerver as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Reyes drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kerver pulls his leg out and moves away.

Reyes feints and as Kerver raises his hands in defense, Reyes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Reyes looking to pass the guard.
Kerver is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reyes is controlling him.
Reyes is standing up over Kerver. Kerver looks to escape but Reyes dives into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reyes is looking to take a break and control but Kerver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kerver wants to get back to his feet but Reyes is dominant here and he's now got Kerver's back!
Reyes moves to back control.

Reyes tightening his grip on Kerver, looking for the choke.
Kerver is breathing heavily.
Kerver is trying to break free.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Reyes is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Reyes lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Kerver looking very determined here, making life difficult for Reyes.
Reyes misses with punches from the back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kerver turns into Reyes and is now in his guard.

Reyes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Reyes looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kerver has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reyes is proving hard to escape from.

Kerver avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kerver is looking to stand up but Reyes won't let him.
Reyes tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kerver wants to stand but Reyes is controlling his posture from full guard.
Reyes wants to stand but Kerver is controlling the position.
Kerver trying to control but Reyes is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Reyes wants to sweep here but Kerver controlling him for the moment.
Kerver wants to pass the guard but Reyes is keeping the position.

Reyes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kerver doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kerver manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kerver avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Reyes working for submissions but it's allowed Kerver to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alucard Reyes dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Kerver tries a head kick but it misses.
Kerver misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kerver misses with a few strikes there.
Kerver throws a series of punches but Reyes moves out of range.

Reyes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Reyes working over Kerver with some ground and pound. Kerver looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Reyes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Reyes is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Reyes seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kerver is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Alucard Reyes!
