The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William has a takedown stuffed.
Franklin misses with a wild combination.
Franklin tests William's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Noah William has been cut.
William tries to clinch up
and Franklin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
William shoots and misses
and Franklin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps William thinking.
Franklin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but William circles away quickly and effectively.
Franklin lands a slapping body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
William tries to clinch but Franklin moves away
and Franklin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Noah William seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Franklin lands with a big left! William is wobbled badly! Franklin comes in with a flurry of punches and drops William to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
