Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arnold Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Denis Churilov!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer connects with a jab.
It looks like Denis Churilov has been cut.
Palmer checks a leg kick.
Churilov with a poor takedown
and Palmer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Churilov throws a sloppy head kick and Palmer moves out of range easily.
Churilov throws a leg kick but Palmer sees it coming and moves out of range.
Palmer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Palmer wants to slow Churilov down by chopping away at his legs.
Churilov misses with a series of wild punches.
Churilov closes the distance and clinches up with Palmer, looking for a takedown. Churilov pushes Palmer against the cage but Palmer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Churilov.
Arnold Palmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denis Churilov.
Churilov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Churilov shoots for a double leg takedown but Palmer sprawls well. He's pushed Churilov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Churilov looks gassed!
Churilov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Palmer with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Good exchange - Palmer coming out on top.
A right-left combo lands from Palmer.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Palmer keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Palmer tries to work over Churilov's front leg with a kick but Churilov checks it.
Churilov blocks the body kick.
Denis Churilov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Churilov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Churilov moves out of range of the body kick from Palmer.
Palmer moves into range and connects with a jab.
Churilov is trying desperately to land a takedown but Palmer is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Churilov.
Oooooh!!! Palmer has knocked Churilov down with a huge combo! Palmer steps away and waves a wobbly Churilov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Churilov is rocked!
That has opened up Denis Churilov's cut even more.
OH! Churilov has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Palmer smells blood and charges in for the finish! Palmer unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Churilov sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Arnold Palmer!
