Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Ricard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruchacz Zak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ricard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Frank The Tank. Zak has chosen Armin van Buuren - Sail as his entrance music. Frank Ricard could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ruchacz Zak's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricard throws a nice looking combination but Zak bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Frank Ricard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ricard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ricard.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zak.

Ricard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zak's guard.
Ricard is looking to work some ground and pound but Zak has wrist control.

Ricard keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zak's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ricard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ricard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ricard wants to stand and escape but instead Zak has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Ricard is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ricard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zak doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zak manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ricard is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zak is controlling him.

Ricard is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zak defends well.

Ricard scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Zak looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Zak is looking to clinch.
Ricard misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ricard drops Zak with a left right combo! Ricard follows him down to the ground into side control.

Zak is rocked!

It looks like Ruchacz Zak has been cut.
Zak wants to control but Ricard postures up.
Ricard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ricard decides to stand back up.

Ricard rushes Zak and presses him up against the cage.

Ricard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ricard misses with the combination.
Ricard throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Zak looks gassed!
Ricard moves in close and cracks Zak with a massive right hand! Zak, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Ricard!

After the fight, Frank Ricard was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
