Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Fotoberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redd comes to the cage accompanied by We Will Rock You. Fotoberg is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mama said Knock you out. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fotoberg takes the fight into the clinch.

Redd jumps guard but Fotoberg stands there with Redd around his waist. Redd gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Redd has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fotoberg uses from the top position.

Redd had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fotoberg defends it easily.

Fotoberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Redd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Redd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fotoberg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fotoberg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Redd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fotoberg has managed to get both his arms back between Redd's legs - danger averted.

Redd is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fotoberg is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Redd looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Fotoberg is defending well. Redd quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Fotoberg has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Redd celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

A very excited looking Jake Redd rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
