The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ubereem drops Valuyskiy with a left and a right! Oh, Valuyskiy is hurt - Ubereem dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Aleksandr Valuyskiy has been cut.

Valuyskiy wants to control but Ubereem postures up.

Ubereem stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Ubereem rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Valuyskiy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ubereem scores with a one two! Valuyskiy had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Valuyskiy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ubereem doesn't manage to clinch there - Valuyskiy circles away.

Ubereem clinches.
Ubereem lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Ubereem is working Valuyskiy over against the cage.
Ubereem softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Ubereem with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

That has opened up Aleksandr Valuyskiy's cut even more.
Valuyskiy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ubereem gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Ubereem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Ubereem and Valuyskiy goes tumbling to the canvas! Ubereem follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ubereem throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Valuyskiy crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
