The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dawson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zalinski napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Zalinski is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dawson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Oh but Zalinski is tightening it up a little... Dawson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dawson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dawson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Zalinski!
