Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JJ Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hayes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Superfreak. Manuel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Another brick in the wall. On his way into the cage it seems that JJ Hayes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily JJ Hayes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Manuel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hayes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Manuel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Manuel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Manuel throws a front kick aimed at Hayes's knee but Hayes avoids it well.
Manuel moves into range and clinches up with Hayes.
Hayes is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Manuel is defending well for now.
Hayes misses with a punch to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hayes.
A right handed body shot lands from Hayes.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hayes.
Hayes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Manuel is trying to force a seperation but Hayes has the dominant position.
Hayes with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Manuel's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
It looks like Kevin Manuel has been cut.
Hayes misses with the head strike.
Manuel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hayes moves to clinch but Manuel breaks away
and Manuel counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hayes tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Hayes is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Manuel controlling well, preventing Hayes from escaping the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Manuel has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Hayes is defending well but eventually Manuel manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Hayes has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kevin Manuel!
