Snot comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne - Drop the World. Betoni has chosen Vinnie Paz - Brick Wall as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Betoni gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Snot to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Betoni avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Snot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Snot wants to pass the guard but Betoni is keeping the position.
Snot won't allow Betoni to sweep him here.
Snot throws a big right hand that misses.
Snot trying to control but Betoni is working from the bottom.
Snot throws a strike but Betoni rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Betoni is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Betoni postures up in Snot's guard and throws a big left but Snot blocks it.

It looks like Piet Snot has been cut.
Betoni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snot moves away.
Betoni throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Betoni lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Snot counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Betoni!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Betoni tries to hold on but Snot postures up.
Snot misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Snot jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Betoni is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Betoni and Snot has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Betoni is refusing to be controlled, as Snot sits in half guard.
Betoni is looking to improve his position.

Betoni is looking for a triangle but Snot pushes his legs off easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Snot throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Betoni manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snot manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Donk. Betoni catches Snot right on the button with a cross.
Snot slips a jab and a cross from Betoni.
Betoni stuffs the takedown.
Betoni stuffs the takedown attempt from Snot. Snot gets slowly back to his feet.
Betoni throws a looping overhand right but Snot ducks down to avoid it.
Betoni will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Betoni throws a jab when Snot was well out of range.
Joni Betoni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Betoni as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piet Snot. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Betoni cracks Snot with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Betoni has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Snot to stand back up!

Snot is rocked!

Betoni batters Snot with a massive right followed by a huge left! Snot is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Betoni lands a final crushing right hand to drop Snot to the mat with a gruesome thud! Betoni is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
