PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stu Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casean Fritz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harper comes to the cage accompanied by Long Way Round - Stereophonics. The crowd seem to be enjoying Fritz's choice of entrance music: Rockstar Bully. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fritz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harper avoids it really well and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fritz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Fritz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Harper throws a strike but Fritz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

After the fight, Casean Fritz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
