Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Arne Georgsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horst Linkke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Georgsen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to O Fortuna. Linkke is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Anamanaguchi - Helix Nebula. Linkke has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Horst Linkke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linkke swats away the attempt to clinch by Georgsen.
Linkke looks gassed!
Georgsen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Georgsen fails to land the takedown.
Georgsen misses with a takedown attempt - Linkke sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Georgsen moves in looking to clinch but Linkke pushes him off.
Linkke defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Georgsen.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Linkke is squirming around, avoiding Georgsen's attempts to control the action.

Georgsen has control of Linkke's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Linkke regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Georgsen looking to control but Linkke is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Georgsen has hold of Linkke's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Linkke manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Georgsen trying to control but he's not successful this time.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Linkke is trying to stand.
Georgsen content just to control the position here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Linkke slaps away a takedown attempt from Georgsen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Georgsen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Linkke as he avoids it easily.
Georgsen cracks Linkke with a good jab.
Georgsen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Georgsen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Georgsen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Linkke's waist but Linkke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Georgsen off to one side.

Georgsen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Linkke is fighting off a takedown attempt but Georgsen is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Linkke to the mat. Linkke regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Linkke holds on and takes a little breather.

Georgsen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Linkke dives on top into guard.
Linkke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Georgsen has Linkke pulled in close to control his posture.

Georgsen is looking for a sweep. Linkke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Horst Linkke was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Georgsen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Linkke defends it nicely.

Georgsen throws a body punch but Linkke moves out of range.

and Georgsen counters with a crisp right that sends Linkke to the canvas! Georgsen follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
