Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tiberius Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sangjix Bello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Bello. No joy for Spartacus on that attempt.
Spartacus tries to clinch but Bello moves out of range.

Bello is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Bello blocks the elbow strike.
Bello tries to circle away but Spartacus has him pinned against the cage.
Bello lands a body punch in the clinch.
Bello will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Spartacus up against the cage.

Bello wants the takedown. Spartacus is fighting it off but Bello persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Spartacus's guard against the cage.

Bello must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Spartacus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Spartacus slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Spartacus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Tiberius Spartacus has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Spartacus shoots for a takedown but Bello saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bello has closed the distance and engaged Spartacus in a clinch.
Spartacus drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tiberius Spartacus. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bello is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Spartacus can't fight it off and eventually Bello manages to take the fight to the floor. Spartacus looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Spartacus is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bello is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tiberius Spartacus will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Spartacus gets tackled into the cage by Bello. Bello maintains the clinch.
Spartacus misses with a punch to the body.
Bello is pressed up against the cage. Spartacus has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bello down to the mat. Bello avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bello fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Spartacus sprawls well initially but Bello persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bello is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Spartacus as he works his way to full guard.

Bello wants to control from the top but Spartacus keeps moving.
Bello lands a couple of digs.
Bello throws an elbow that misses. Spartacus uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bello's guard. Nice move by Spartacus!
Bello tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Spartacus slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Spartacus tries to score with some ground and pound. Bello controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bello is not content to let Spartacus control the position.

Bello really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spartacus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Spartacus decides to stand back up. Spartacus steps back and let's Bello get back to his feet.
Bello falls off balance throwing a combination
and Spartacus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bello is breathing heavily.
Spartacus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bello.
Spartacus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bello but Bello pushes him off and we're back to square one.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spartacus is on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bello can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Spartacus lands a really nice looking cross but Bello seems unphased.

Bello shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Bello stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spartacus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Spartacus has his hands on Bello's head, controlling the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Spartacus pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bello tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bello tries to sprawl but Spartacus drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Spartacus looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Spartacus throws some wild stikes that Bello manages to avoid easily.
Poor strikes thrown by Spartacus there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Spartacus pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Spartacus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Spartacus working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Bello turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Spartacus off and cradles Bello's limp body as Spartacus celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Tiberius Spartacus!
Tiberius Spartacus tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
