The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Maximus Meridius has been cut.
Bomb throws a head kick but Meridius moves out of range.
Meridius throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Meridius throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bomb sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bomb throws a head kick but Meridius moves out of range.
Meridius throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bomb moves out of range as Meridius throws a body kick.
Meridius blocks a head kick by Bomb.
Meridius throws a right and a left that both miss.

Meridius gets a clinch.
Meridius looking to throw knees to the head but Bomb is blocking nicely.

Bomb struggles to land a body shot inside as Meridius controls his hands.
Meridius wants to get back to striking at distance but Bomb won't allow it.
Meridius is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bomb is defending well for now.

Meridius breaks the clinch.
Bomb uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Meridius.
Meridius pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Meridius lands a nice looking body shot.
Meridius takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Maximus Meridius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meridius throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bomb counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bomb. Meridius does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bomb on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bomb looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bomb misses with a looping left.

Meridius feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bomb sprawling to the canvas! Bomb rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Meridius finish him?!

It looks like Adam Bomb has been cut.
Meridius throws a quick head kick that knocks Bomb silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Meridius is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
