The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern keeps the fight on the outside.
R The ghost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stern fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The ghost sprawls well initially but Stern persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ghost is in trouble now - Stern has advanced to mount!
Stern pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The ghost on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if The ghost tries to get out of the position.
Stern has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of The ghost's face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Stern has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The ghost wants to control but Stern is having none of it.

Stern is landing with some decent strikes but The ghost is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ghost is breathing heavily.
Stern unloads with some shots from mount but The ghost bucks and avoids them well.
Stern loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have The ghost scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Stern land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Stern stands and salutes the crowd.
