Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Dinh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolli Polli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harry Dinh had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harry Dinh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rolli Polli!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polli shoots in but Dinh avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Dinh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Dinh is pressing down on Polli's thigh, looking to free his foot. Polli is holding on for now.
Dinh is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Dinh tries to pass the half guard into mount. Polli knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Dinh uses his free foot to push down on Polli's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Polli.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dinh cracks Polli with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Dinh fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Dinh jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Polli is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Polli and Dinh has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Dinh is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Polli knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dinh is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Polli is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Polli tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dinh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Dinh counters with a shoot takedown. Polli fights it but they end up in guard.
Dinh has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dinh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Polli looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Polli gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Polli is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dinh is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Polli's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Polli's back!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Harry Dinh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Polli decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dinh to his feet.
Polli misses with a series of wild punches.

Dinh misses with a takedown attempt - Polli sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dinh darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Dinh is nestled in close to Polli, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Dinh is looking to advance position but Polli won't allow it.
Polli wants to control but Dinh is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Dinh shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Dinh is stalling here. Polli is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dinh seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Polli has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Polli tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Polli has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dinh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Polli keeping full guard, as Dinh tries to pass.
Dinh won't allow Polli to sweep him here.

Dinh slips nicely into half guard.
Dinh wants to pass to mount but Polli is defending the position.

Well Dinh has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
