The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Valvekov's guard.
Black working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Valvekov keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully.
Black trying to stand up but can't free himself from Valvekov's guard.
Valvekov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Valvekov throws a right and a left that Black avoids nicely.
Valvekov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Black sprawls well initially but Valvekov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Valvekov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Black tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Valvekov!
