The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mucho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alvarado circles away.
Alvarado stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alvarado wants it to stay on the feet.
Mucho takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Alvarado turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Alvarado throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mucho on the side of the head.

Mucho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alvarado circles away.

Alvarado fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mucho has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alvarado lands a brutal uppercut that launches Mucho off his feet! Mucho tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
