The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DArcangeli fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
DArcangeli shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Davis throws out a powerful jab.
Davis digs a good body shot into DArcangeli's ribs.
Davis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Davis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

DArcangeli tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davis swivels and escapes.
DArcangeli fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
DArcangeli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but DArcangeli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

DArcangeli shoots for a takedown but Davis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
DArcangeli shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis tries to sprawl out of it but DArcangeli keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
DArcangeli is breathing heavily.

Davis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Davis enables DArcangeli to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
