Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Belstead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ingo Heinrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dominic Belstead!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ingo Heinrich!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heinrich is looking to clinch.

Belstead has Heinrich up against the cage in a clinch.

Belstead has clasped his hands together around Heinrich's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Heinrich is trying to escape the position but Belstead is controlling the position.
Belstead lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Belstead has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Belstead stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Belstead walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Heinrich checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Heinrich scores with a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Heinrich clinches.
Heinrich prevents a takedown attempt there.
Heinrich has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Belstead avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Heinrich misses with a punch to the body.

Belstead prevents Heinrich from breaking the clinch.

Belstead pulls Heinrich into guard.

Belstead looking for subs off his back but Heinrich has passed one foot through into half guard.
Heinrich prevents Belstead from improving his position.

Belstead actively working from the bottom here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Belstead missing with punches from the bottom.
Belstead gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belstead controlling Heinrich's posture.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Belstead is looking for a triangle but Heinrich pushes his legs off easily.

Belstead looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Belstead pulls Heinrich in close to prevent any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Heinrich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belstead has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Heinrich has managed to get both his arms back between Belstead's legs - danger averted.
Heinrich wants to get up but he can't break Belstead's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Belstead had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Heinrich defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dominic Belstead dominated that round.
That's time! Belstead's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Belstead shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Belstead circles away from the clinch attempt

and Belstead counters with a single leg into guard. Heinrich didn't expect that.
Belstead sitting in guard here, content to control.

Belstead drops back looking for a leg! Heinrich is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Heinrich manages to kick Belstead off! Belstead jumps back into Heinrich's guard.
Belstead stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Heinrich swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Belstead trying to control but Heinrich is working from the bottom.
Belstead pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Heinrich is keeping the position for now.
Belstead trying to control the position from guard on top but Heinrich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dominic Belstead just wasn't active enough.
Heinrich wants to clinch

and Belstead counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Heinrich!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Belstead working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Heinrich looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Belstead! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Dominic Belstead!
A very excited looking Dominic Belstead made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
