Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Vikic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Emelianenko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kalinka - Red Army choir . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Samuel Vikic!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vikic shoots in but Emelianenko avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Samuel Vikic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emelianenko throws a sloppy head kick and Vikic moves out of range easily.
Vikic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Emelianenko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Vikic or perhaps it was just good defense by Emelianenko which made him look bad.
Emelianenko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vikic's waist but Vikic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Emelianenko off to one side.

Emelianenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vikic gets the takedown into side control.
Vikic is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Emelianenko has escaped the position, nice work there.
Emelianenko wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Vikic tries for a kimura but Emelianenko is defending well.
Emelianenko is pushing Vikic's head away, looking to escape. Vikic manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vikic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Emelianenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Emelianenko wants to get back to his feet but Vikic drags him back down.
Emelianenko is breathing heavily.
Vikic wants to control but Emelianenko is keeping him busy.
Emelianenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vikic on the ground.
Vikic has hold of Emelianenko's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Emelianenko tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vikic cranks the arm and Emelianenko screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Emelianenko, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Samuel Vikic!
