Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristof Nikitin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Destroy Everything. Nikitin has chosen Arch Enemy - My Apocalypse as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikitin thuds a left hand into Russo's body.
Nikitin tries to land a leg kick but Russo saw it coming and moves away.
Nikitin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Russo's hands.

It looks like Jimmy Russo has been cut.
Russo misses with a few strikes there.
Nikitin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Russo tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Russo throws a solid leg kick but Nikitin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Russo.

Nikitin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Russo sprawls well initially but Nikitin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nikitin moves nicely into side control.

Nikitin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
