Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavril shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zaleski as he avoids it easily.
Zaleski buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Zaleski checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Gavril is looking to clinch.
Gavril looks to land a body kick but Zaleski moved away.
Gavril clinches.
Gavril manages to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Zaleski throws an elbow that misses. Gavril uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Zaleski's guard. Nice move by Gavril!

Gavril is fighting to break Zaleski's control of his arms but Zaleski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Zaleski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gavril closes the distance and clinches up with Zaleski, looking for a takedown. Gavril pushes Zaleski against the cage but Zaleski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zaleski throws a jab when Gavril was well out of range.
Gavril shoots in but Zaleski avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Gavril. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zaleski throws a chopping leg kick but Gavril manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Zaleski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gavril but Gavril pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gavril tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zaleski was well out of range. Poor timing from Gavril.

Zaleski tries to keep at a distance but Gavril has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gavril tries to pull guard but Zaleski won't allow it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Gavril tries to score a body lock takedown but Zaleski shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Gavril changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zaleski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gavril tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zaleski swivels and escapes.

Gavril tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zaleski was well out of range. Poor timing from Gavril.
Gavril drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gavril tries to get to his feet but Zaleski is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Gavril in his guard.
Gavril is breathing heavily.
Zaleski wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zaleski can do anything to dispel that myth.
Zaleski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gavril manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gavril looking for a guillotine here but Zaleski defends easily.
Zaleski passes into half guard.

Gavril wants to control the action here but instead Zaleski manages to pass to full mount!
Zaleski lands a heavy elbow.
Zaleski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gavril's face.

Zaleski lands with some strikes.
Zaleski wants to control the pace but Gavril is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
