Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bongo Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bass comes into the arena with Bad Man by Skillinjah blaring out of the sound system. Big Hurt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bongo Bass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Big Hurt!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bass thows a body shot but no joy.
Bass pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hurt digs a good hook to Bass's body.
Bongo Bass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bass scores with a kick to the midsection.
Hurt blocks a head kick by Bass.
A head kick misses from Bass.
Hurt is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bass.
Bass throws a head kick that misses.
Bass avoids the head kick by Hurt.
Hurt throws a right hand that Bass ducks under and follows up with a left that Bass also avoids with ease.
Bass throws a sloppy head kick
and Hurt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hurt connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bass's hands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Bass.
Hurt takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bass misses with a double jab.
Hurt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bass chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bass throws a body punch but Hurt moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hurt avoids a kick to the body.
Bass on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hurt. Hurt obviously looking to wear him down.
Bass misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bass is breathing heavily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hurt. Bass shrugs it off though.
That kick from Hurt tenderised Bass's leg. Bass is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hurt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bass looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bass really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bass is letting Hurt control him for a moment.
Bass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hurt on the ground.
Hurt is working to tighten is grip on Bass's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bass has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hurt is really squeezing tight and eventually Bass passes out! Hurt breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Big Hurt!
