Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jared White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Through the Fire Flames- Dragonforce. George Johnson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.

You can see the frustration on White's face as Johnson controls the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
