Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Furbus McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Junior Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos shoots for a double leg takedown but McGee sprawls well. He's pushed Dos Santos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McGee missing with a left hand there. Dos Santos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nice takedown defense from Dos Santos. No joy for McGee on that attempt.

Dos Santos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McGee did well to prevent Dos Santos getting side control.

McGee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dos Santos clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
McGee has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Dos Santos's body.
McGee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

What can Dos Santos do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

McGee wants to free his trapped foot but Dos Santos is holding on for dear life with his legs.
McGee takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McGee in particular looking to stall.
McGee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dos Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGee tries to avoid it but Dos Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGee to the ground. McGee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dos Santos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dos Santos misses with a takedown attempt - McGee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

McGee throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dos Santos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McGee is in Dos Santos's guard.

Dos Santos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McGee defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dos Santos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dos Santos is fending him off so far but McGee persists. Nope, Dos Santos circles away and we're back to standing.
McGee takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Dos Santos dives in and grabs McGee's left leg, looking for a takedown. McGee pushes down on Dos Santos's head and hops out.

McGee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Furbus McGee.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
