Artist is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dropkick Murphys - Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Artist on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Maynard moves into the clinch successfully.

Maynard lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Maynard will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Artist up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Maynard creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Maynard lands a left hand that snaps the head of Artist backwards.
Maynard throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maynard fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Artist looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Maynard fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Artist gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Maynard gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Artist is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
