The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valta looks to land a combination. Williams sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Valta works Williams's body with a nice hook.
Valta scores with a shot to the body.
Valta scores with a spinning back kick!
Williams looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
An inside leg kick lands from Valta.
Valta darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Williams takes one to the side of the head.
Williams gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Valta's jab looks to have found its range, popping Williams under the eye.
Williams is rocked!
Williams walks into a left hand.
Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Valta finish him?
Both fighters circling a little - Valta finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Valta throws a quick inside leg kick.
Valta lands a big right hand that sends Williams crashing to the mat! Valta stays standing though and waves Williams back to his feet!
Williams walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Williams limp body while Valta jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Taisto Valta!
