Dexter has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Mark Dexter has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pabin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dexter was well out of range. Poor timing from Pabin.
Pabin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dexter is defended easily by Pabin.
Mark Dexter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dexter feints and as Pabin raises his hands in defense, Dexter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dexter wants to pass the guard but Pabin is keeping the position.

Dexter is looking to work some ground and pound but Pabin has wrist control.

Dexter has gone for a leg lock! Pabin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dexter's guard.
