The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin throws a right and a left that Hamburger avoids nicely.
Carwin misses with a double jab

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carwin wants to control but Hamburger is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hector Hamburger.

Carwin drops Hamburger with a beautiful combination! Hamburger stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carwin is looking for the KO!

It looks like Hector Hamburger has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hamburger has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hamburger is trying to pull guard but Carwin has him pressed against the cage.

Carwin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carwin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hamburger circles away quickly and effectively.
Hamburger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carwin as he jumps to the side.
Hamburger lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Carwin gets in close and tags Hamburger with a short punch that almost sends Hamburger to the mat! Oh Hamburger is in big trouble! He turns his back on Carwin, trying to create some distance but Carwin rushes him, striking wildly and Hamburger goes down! The referee tackles Carwin into the cage to end the fight! Carwin is one violent man!

A relieved looking Frank Carwin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
