Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Rae!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jorz Baguio!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baguio pushes Rae up against the cage in a clinch.
Baguio gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rae.
Rae tries to pull guard but Baguio won't allow it.

Baguio gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Rae working a defensive guard here.
Baguio stopping the sweep attempt from Rae.
Rae preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Baguio stands up over Rae, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rae controls Baguio momentarily but Baguio frees himself.

Baguio decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Baguio clinches up with Rae and pushes him back against the cage.
Baguio keeps control of Rae as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Baguio prevents Rae from breaking the clinch.
Baguio blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Baguio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baguio throws a right hand that Rae ducks under and follows up with a left that Rae also avoids with ease.

Baguio dives in and scores a takedown into Rae's guard.
Baguio throwing strikes from guard but Rae blocks nicely.
Baguio missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Rae preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Baguio slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Baguio postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rae throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Baguio throwing strikes but missing.
Rae is breathing heavily.
Rae controls Baguio momentarily but Baguio frees himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rae utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Baguio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Baguio working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rae's head.
Rae avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Baguio throwing strikes but missing.
Baguio wants to control from the top but Rae keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baguio throws a big right hand that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Baguio wants to control from the top but Rae keeps moving.

Baguio decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rae, up you get!
Baguio throws a right hand that Rae ducks under and follows up with a left that Rae also avoids with ease.
Baguio stalks Rae and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rae's face. Rae staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Daniel Rae has been cut.
Baguio lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rae is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Baguio moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jorz Baguio!
