Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with In Flames - Bullet Ride blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Smith is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carwin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Carwin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.
Carwin lands a nice hook to Smith's body. Smith takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jordan Smith.
