Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Einstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Roza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justin Roza will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert Einstein !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Roza!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roza tries for a takedown but Einstein circles away easily
and Einstein counters with a nice low kick that buckles Roza's knee momentarily.

Einstein is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Einstein working for a triangle but Roza defends it easily.
Einstein wants to stand up but Roza is controlling him.

Roza postures up.
Roza not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Roza won't allow Einstein to sweep him here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Roza will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Roza takes one on the button.
Roza tries to clinch but Einstein is having none of it.
Einstein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Einstein jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fighters circle momentarily. Einstein darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sloppy strikes from Roza. Those never looked like landing.
Einstein throws a jab but it's blocked by Roza.
Roza moves away from the strike by Einstein .

Einstein fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Roza to the ground. Einstein is now in Roza's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Einstein trying to control the position from guard on top but Roza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Einstein is pushing down on Roza's leg trying to pass to half guard. Roza is fighting to maintain full guard but Einstein has managed to sneak the leg through.
Einstein thows a huge punch but Roza dodges it nicely.

Roza has his hands clasped together around Einstein 's back. He's all about the action.
Roza has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Einstein is working away from the top position though.

Roza gets back to full guard.
Roza looking to hit a scissor sweep but Einstein is one step ahead there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Roza shoots in and drives through. Einstein sprawls well.

Einstein closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Roza's guard.

Roza regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Einstein .

Albert Einstein overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Roza has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Roza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Einstein pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Roza scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Einstein throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A telegraphed right hand from Einstein misses the target.
Einstein lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Roza changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Einstein looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Roza works to advance to full mount. Einstein defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Roza avoids the attempt from Einstein to control.
Roza forces the positional change into back control.
Roza is hanging on to Einstein 's back as he tries to escape.

Roza working for a choke but Einstein reverses nicely into Roza 's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Einstein looking to sit in guard and control but Roza gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Roza slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Albert Einstein is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Einstein has control of Roza's left arm, preventing Roza from doing any damage.

Einstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Einstein is trying to keep Roza in close.
Roza pushes down on Einstein 's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Einstein tries to roll over but Roza keeps him under control.

Still in half guard, Roza seems content to control.
Einstein has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Roza is working away from the top position though.

Einstein wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Roza moves in looking to clinch but Einstein pushes him off.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Einstein , right into the meat.

Roza slips under a jab.
Justin Roza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Einstein avoids the body shot from Roza.

Roza throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Einstein was covering up waiting for the punch and Roza finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Einstein lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roza!

Justin Roza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Roza is looking to improve his position but Einstein isn't that keen on the idea.

I would just about give that final round to Justin Roza.
Well Einstein has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
