And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Les Paul!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukens tries to land a front kick but Paul steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Paul stuns Lukens with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lenny Lukens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lukens moves in looking to clinch but Paul pushes him off.
Paul swings for the body but Lukens moves out of range.
Paul throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Paul lands a right hook to the body.

Lukens moves into range and clinches up with Paul.
Paul pushes Lukens back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Lukens cracks Paul with a nice body shot.
Lukens looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Paul lands a nice knee to the body.
Lukens stops a takedown attempt from Paul.
Paul tries to work over Lukens's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A body shot lands from Paul.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paul keeps control of Lukens as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Lukens wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Lukens jumps guard and drags Paul to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Paul pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lukens is keeping the position for now.
Paul passes into half guard.
Paul seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lukens does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Paul is trying to work for a kimura but Lukens is defending well.
Lukens is in trouble now - Paul has advanced to mount!

Lukens can't escape the position.

Paul is not going to allow Lukens to sit and survive in this position.

Paul is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Paul is trying to stick to Lukens's back but Lukens is turning into Paul. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Paul's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lukens.

Lukens thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Paul working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lukens.

Paul is looking to sinch up a triangle. Lukens throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Paul's body to avoid the submission. Paul has instead reached around Lukens's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Paul arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
