Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vince Tuzzio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmundo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuzzio tries to close the distance and clinch but Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Tuzzio or perhaps it was just good defense by Jr which made him look bad.
Jr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jr is keen to just control but Tuzzio is a slippery customer.

Let's hope that Jr has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
